Guest Post: Chocolate Macadamia Blondies by Karen von Karens Backwahn
I'm so happy to bake a recipe for your blog. If my recipe appears to you, I'm in the summer break myself. Who wants to see again, what the dear Maja baked with me may like to read HERE.
These blondies bring on holiday mood, right?
I thought about what would fit well with Maja's blog. Somewhere I mean to have read that she is just totally on USA pastry. So what's better than blondies? I've seen the recipe HERE a while ago and wanted to bake it for so long. Now I finally have the opportunity. Unfortunately, too late, I would have known beforehand how wonderful they taste ...
- 100 g butter
- 100 g white chocolate
- 50 g brown sugar
- 50 g white sugar
- 3 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs (size L)
- 150 g flour (sifted)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 g roughly chopped macadamia nuts
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees upper and lower heat. The preparation of the Blondies goes jerk-win.
I use a square springform for brownies and Co. But who has no hand, just takes a casserole dish of about 24 x 24 cm. If you use a casserole dish you should not forget the greasing. With the springform baking-paper is sufficient to pinch it.
Let the butter melt slowly together with the white chocolate in a saucepan.
In the meantime, mix the flour with the baking powder.
When the chocolate-butter mixture has melted remove from heat and stir in another bowl the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar with the whisk of the food processor/hand mixer. Slowly pour in the chocolate-butter mixture while stirring constantly and stir. Finally, stir in the flour mixture and the nuts until a dough results.
Put the dough in the springform or casserole dish, spread evenly and bake for about 35 minutes. After baking, I let the blondies cool for about 5 minutes in the springform pan and then removed the frame. That's just how they cool off better. For the casserole dish, I recommend to wait until they are completely cooled. So it's better to cut out in the end.
The size of the squares you cut out is up to you. I've cut them into little mini-cubes because they make it easier to fit into your mouth while working 🙂
I wish Maja's readers a lot of fun baking , Snacking and Enjoyment.
Thank you for allowing me to be a guest on your blog.
